Manual processes were causing delays and errors.
When we received an order from our distributors, we used to have to copy and paste information from one system to another, and request information from the warehouse about which box size was needed for the order. Without this information, we weren’t able to send out our products.
This triple handling led to mistakes and incorrect estimates that could delay orders. Waiting for responses within this system would also impact the time it took to send out an order.
The delay to receive this information was a problem to me - my biggest issue.
