Before 3DBP, Wiredzone used static FedEx tables and product weight to calculate shipping. It required periodic updates and was almost always inaccurate.

With 3DBP, Wiredzone are able to compare Product Weight with Volume Weight and decide which to use. They have defined packing sizes for different shipment requirements and have integrated the 3DBP Pack a Shipment API to more accurately calculate the number of boxes and the overall shipment volume.

We are able to offer our customers a more accurate shipping cost. Not only have we streamlined the shipping calculation process, but we reduced the number of boxes used on shipments by about 20-25%, consequently we are saving 10-15% in overall shipping costs.
